Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy

At SOMAyur, we want you to be confident in your purchase. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Due to the consumable, perishable, and personal-care nature of our products (herbal teas, oils, and blends), we accept returns only under the following circumstances:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or leaking product.
  • You received the wrong item or an incomplete order.
  • The product was delivered with a broken seal or compromised packaging.
  • The product is past its expiry/best-before date at the time of delivery.

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened, used, or consumed food and personal-care products unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

2. Return Window

You must report any issue within 48 hours of delivery by contacting us with your order number and photographic evidence (where applicable). Requests raised after this window may not be eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email info@somayur.in with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos/videos of the product and packaging.
  2. Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and confirm the next steps.
  3. If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (where serviceable) or request you to ship the item back to us. Return shipping costs for defective/incorrect items will be borne by SOMAyur.

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned product (or confirming the issue, in cases not requiring return shipment).
  • For prepaid orders, refunds are credited to the original payment source.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer/UPI — you will be asked to share your bank details securely.
  • Shipping charges (if any were paid) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong/damaged item).

5. Exchanges

If you’d prefer an exchange instead of a refund for a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, let us know when you raise your request, subject to stock availability. If the replacement item is unavailable, we will issue a refund instead.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed (unless defective/damaged/incorrect)
  • Products without original packaging, labels, or seals
  • Items purchased on final sale or clearance, where marked as such
  • Gift cards (if applicable)

7. Order Cancellations

  • You may cancel an order free of charge as long as it has not yet been dispatched. Contact us immediately at info@somayur.in to request cancellation.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but you may initiate a return upon delivery if it qualifies under Section 1.

8. Quality Concerns

If you experience an adverse reaction or quality concern with any SOMAyur product, please discontinue use immediately, consult a healthcare professional if needed, and contact us at info@somayur.in with details. We take all quality feedback seriously and will investigate promptly.
