1. Introduction

Welcome to SOMAyur. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SOMAyur website www.somayur.in (the “Site”) and your purchase of any products listed on it (the “Products”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

SOMAyur is owned and operated by SOMAyur, registered at Tamil Nadu, India.

2. About Our Products

SOMAyur products, including SOMAyur DIA Tea, SOMAyur Herbal Wellness Oil, SOMAyur Herbal Hair Wellness Oil, and SOMAyur Gut Wellness Herbal Blend, are food-based herbal and cosmetic wellness products inspired by traditional Siddha practices.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any SOMAyur product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, or taking medication.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or be using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By using the Site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

4. Account Registration

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@somayur.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Orders and Acceptance

• Placing an order on the Site is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.
• An order confirmation email does not guarantee acceptance — it confirms we have received your order.
• We reserve the right to limit order quantities per customer or household.

6. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. 
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of order confirmation.
• Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through the payment methods available on the Site (e.g., UPI, credit/debit card, net banking). 
• We use third-party payment processors and do not store your full card or banking details on our servers.

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

• Resell SOMAyur products without our express written authorization.

11. Product Information and Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, and ingredient lists are accurate. However:

• Minor variations in product appearance, packaging, or natural ingredient color/texture may occur due to the use of natural botanicals.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOMAyur shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our Products or Site.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including liability for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Customers with known allergies or sensitivities to herbs, spices, or botanical ingredients should carefully review the ingredient list of each product before use. SOMAyur is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or failure to read product information.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
